HOW CAN I GET IT BACK? This thread is locked. Provide workarounds for the issue that Email messages are stuck in Outbox in Outlook 2016 for Mac.
This usually happens due to situations if you are working in offline mode or there is a connection problem. To check, select the Tools tab, and move the slider to Online. If you close Outlook, disconnect your Mac from the Internet (turn off WiFi and unplug any Ethernet cable) and restart Outlook, assuming there is something in it, you should find the 'Outbox' folder just above the 'Mail,' 'Calendar,' 'Contacts,' etc. That slide deck with lots of pretty pie charts might be the culprit. In Thunderbird on Mac in different views under Local Folders I either have all my emails folders and only the inbox so, Drafts, Sent, Archives, Junk, Trash and Outbox folders are missing or, underInbox Drafts, Sent,Archives,Junk,Trash Outbox there and hardly any folders.Mac mail outbox missing Go to Mail, click on Preferences then, select Accounts.
